 Dear BBC radio team, 

My name is Ellie Rhodie, i am 17 years of age currently in my second year studying festival and event management.

I'd like to enquire about a potential work placement opportunity for myself with BBC radio. I am open to many starting/ending dates.

I am keen on gaining more knowledge around being a part of a radio team, i have always had an interest and love for many different radio stations, however i must say that in particular Radio1 and 1Xtra are my favourites.

I have previously worked closely with audio equipment, creating playlists and ordering music to be played at an event.

In my spare time I love listening to music, this will take up a huge part of my day. I feel passionately about finding new music and artists that I love.

As an enthusiastic hard working individual I'd be very grateful to be given a massive opportunity like this.
