                                                         Planning

Throughout the duration of the past 11 units that I've worked on, I have mainly focused my work on teens, students and music. In doing this, it has put me in a good position to have more knowledge and information that I can apply into my final project. My main tasks involved doing lots of research and then creating content from it, the skills that this has given me include: awareness to teen and student issues, holding relatable conversations, consideration to current interests and trends. I believe this to be beneficial within the music realm of teen\student life, persuading me even more to base my unit 12 project on the impact music has had on teens and students within the uk. After completing the first 11 units I feel more confident in myself to not only work with other people in use of case studies towards my final project but to also piece all of my work together in the correct way to achieve the goals and grades I would like.

for my unit 12 final project i would like to capture, discuss and show the impact that music has on people. i will be working hard at putting together a documentary, this is going to be made possible by working alongside with production students at northbrook college. throughout the documentary i would like to include questionnaires, interviews and behind the scenes clips. i see this as not only educational but is also useful as promotion for the production students. i would like to capture a teachers point of view also, i hope to plan and complete an interview with production course leader paul young. Whilst completing unit 12 i will be keeping a weekly diary of things to do, each step of planning, set weekly goals and how i'm going to archive my tasks. I will be able to use this weekly information to help me reflect and  form an excellent evaluation and conclusion to my unit 12 statement that I am working from. After each piece of content created i will write out a smaller evaluation of how that task in particular went and how it could have been improved. I intend to plan out everything thoroughly and properly so I can discover every possibility ensuring I can produce the best and most detailed work. After working with other students I will reflect and write a separate conclusion on how I felt working with that particular person went as well as how speaking to them impacted my studies.

To do list

-research the effects of music. read articles, watch documentaries and youtube videos. this will give me any additional information that i can apply or use in my own documentary. this will also give me inspiration o how i would like to structure things.

-set myself a weekly plan or a timeline to follow, this will guide to help to stay on top of tasks.

- plan out future tasks.

Dates/timeline

15th of march- starting date and week 1 of diaries. start research for the documentary.

29th April- start filming, could be behind the scenes, shots of production students working or just aesthetic moments i want to include in the documentary.
