Record label

A+R Manager- A+E Manager is someone that finds the artist and oversees the contracted between the artist and the label.

Artist Manager - Manages the artist and helps them with there with there day to day business.

Label Manager- they are in charge of the whole label and help with any work that the other need help with.

Promoter - There are in charge of of the poster and the social media posts of the label and help the artist with what they will post.

Our Proposal

For this project we decided to do a record label and release some ones music and we want to put it on to different platforms such as youtube and soundcloud.

We also thought we could do a music video to do help with the promotion.

Things we have already done
We has messaged the artist to see if they would be willing to release with us.
We have talk to the artist to see when would be a good time and we are currently looking at the middle of january to release.
We have also have had a meeting with the artist and talk through what they want from us and what we want from them.
We want to have fun and also we are hoping that we can have a few tracks out by our deadline.
We have started to make a release schedule.
Our first target is to get the first song done ready for release, then our next target will be getting a music video planed and shot.

Evaluation

At this point in the project we had a set plan of what we wanted to achieve, we all have set tasks and roles that we wanted to do. I would like to follow this plan weekly and through a calendar so everything is documented. my plan is to create different social media platforms and start posting on them to gain up a following so that when we release the music we get views and feedback.

I need to document the research that i will be doing such as different kind of artist that release similar music to gain an idea of how the promote it. as well as different platforms the release music or talk about up and coming artist of new stuff that is soon to come
