promotion and practical work

Here i have created a youtube channel so we can upload the music of they artist that we are promoting

For this project the aim was to gain a following on our social media platforms to then post and promote music made by our friends from college. We were able to successfully create multiple social media accounts however the following we gained wasn't up to a standard that we wanted it to be. Our Instagram account was my main focus and we were able to gain 60 followers, the reason i feel there wasn't enough people that followed was because there wasn't enough content posted to it. I then uploaded 'emotional war' to soundcloud. From here i then finally uploaded 'emotional war' to our youtube account, this has only had 33 views in 6 days. the reason i feel that there hasn't been a successful out come of this is because we didn't post any promotion to our youtube account so no one new it excised until the day of the upload. Overall i feel that the outcome of this project didn't go exactly to plan, however it taught me a lot about promotion and in future i will be able to do this better as i have learnt from it.

I created a soundcloud account for our brand Royal Artist management so we can upload the music of our artist so a different range of people will see it who doesnt listen to music through youtube

Instagram is a huge part of artist promotion in our generation and for the type of music we are releasing, our target audience if for people who consistently use instagram. we post daily on this account so we remain and our followers can see what goes on behind the scene

This is the logo i made, the reason i made this is to use for our social media accounts. It allows people to take the brand more seriously. By having a logo people are more likely to recognise us through different social media accounts as they would have seen it before. the idea behind it was a crown symbolises royalty and as royal artist it fits well.

Promotion is a huge part of being an artist manager, it allows music to reach different types of people in different areas. This comes with building up an audience to get feedback and support.

This involves creating platforms and social media accounts such as instagram, twitter, facebook and a youtube account.

I created a twitter account as another platform to promote the music, twitter is an amazing social media platform to use as your tweets can get seen by a wide range of people in a short amount of time. I have been active on twitter, linked our Instagram account and our youtube channel in hope to receive more followers and viewers.
