This image is a screenshot taken from the music video and the meaning behind it is even from a young age black people have been put into a stereotype that they can't escape until ‘they are proven their innocent’

‘Tell us we used to be barbaric, we had actual queens

Black is watching “child soldiers gettin” killed by other children’

This is a part of the song and the meaning behind it was:

‘The connotation of being Black is always associated with violence before the world cup started, Raheem Sterling has been the subject of media due to his gun tattoo. In fact, his father died when he was two years old, being shot. But during the recent Qualification of Euro 2020, Raheem Sterling and other England players like Danny Rose have been the subject of racism’

Joyner lucas- Im Not Racist

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=43gm3CJePn0

I'm Not Racist is a song by American rapper Joyner Lucas, it is performed with a white male and a black male arguing with each other about black culture and the issues black individuals go through.

‘I'm not racist, my sister's boyfriend's black

I'm not racist, my sister-in-law's baby cousin Tracy

Got a brother and his girlfriend's black’

The meaning behind these lyrics is expressing how some white people feel the need to tell a black person they aren't racist because they know someone who is black. When in reality this doesn't mean you aren't racist or prejudice towards black people, it is an excuse.

‘Take that du-rag off! Take that gold out your mouth!

Quit the pitiful stuff

And then maybe police would stop killin' you fucks’

These lyrics are spoken by the white man in the video showing extreme stereotyping and racism.

‘I'm tired of the systematic racism bullshit

All you do is false shit, this the shit that I'm force fed’

This part of the song is said by a black man, the lyrics here are stating on how he feels about racism within this world and how its an ongoing system.

This is a screenshot taken from the music video, during this part they have both listened to each other's side of the story and the white man was educated by listening and wanted to hug it out.

Ramz-Think twice about suicide

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Py2Ff3pHjUw

This song has been written by a well known artist in the uk, the reason i feel that this song causes emotion is because there are people in this world who can unfortunately relate to going through a period in their life where they struggled. This song has a lot of power behind it because it's been written by a rapper, within this day and age people in that scene feel like they have to be tough so for someone like Ramz to come out and speak about mental health is so brave.
